Seedly Brand Guidelines & System
The Concept
When I joined, I noticed there was incomplete brand guidelines & systems for internal and external parties. We had a brand story, but what represents Seedly? How should different teams collaborate? How do we align the representation of Seedly and its subsidiaries? How can we scale our assets while maintaining a unique brand? These were the questions I grappled with as I was tasked with establishing a proper library and system.
Fast forward to today, instead of the conventional practise of compiling everything into a document, we now host our brand positioning, idealogy, assets and guidelines on Lingoapp. This platforms also serves as a public brand guideline resource and accessible to external parties with just a web link.
Additionally, I've also refined the system with "Design Ticket". This allows team members to request for design visuals for various initiatives (marketing, advertising, editorial etc.). With this integration into Slack communication channels, this system provides full visibility of the design team workloads and status.
Not forgetting the working team - the content writers who need to create their own infograhic artwork for the blog. I've setup comprehensive guidelines, assets libraries, stylesm, and template all on Figma. This initiative streamlines their workflow by consolidating all necessary tools into a single platform.
