Nursing Room

vivo nursing - facade.jpg

The old nursing room was quite outdated and under-utilised, thus the management wanted a revamp to invite more users into the space. It needs to be more opened so that all users can see the surrounding from inside to outside. The design approach was to go for a timeless concept, not too feminine, a fully functional space for both the caretaker and children.

The column serves as a vertical play space for the toddlers. At the same time, the caretaker can still do the cleaning of the baby at the diaper changing stations, where it has big working space at the top and bottom. The disposal bin with flip cover is integrated into the countertop to emphasise cleanliness and hygiene.

Each individual breastfeeding room is also designed with a touch of luxurious; not looking too much like a baby's room. There is also a big and comfortable armchair for the mothers, taking care of their usage and comfortability.
