Simultaneous Contrast
This exhibition stimulates and inaugurates Sonia Delaunay's idea of colours and patterns unity by implementing the combination of primary colours and generic shapes. Her legacy was left specifically for her avant garde patterns that were influenced from the 'Simultaneous Contrast' movement. It was further composed into her dress designs that were fashioned to suit the female body's movement; form follows function; where she believed that art should be applied to everyday life.
